Production Laboratory

ALAPMET's production laboratory controls raw materials, intermediate materials and finished products against the parameters applicable to each product. The results support production control and the preparation of documents for supplied batches.

Scope of Control

• molybdenum and the principal specified impurities in molybdenum-bearing products;
• sulfur, copper, lead, phosphorus and carbon where specified for the relevant product;
• copper and associated elements in unrefined copper ingots;
• conformity of the identified batch results with agreed requirements.

Traceability of Results

Analytical results are linked to the batch number. The Certificate of Analysis reports the actual results for the specific batch and should be read together with the agreed commercial specification.
